Kintsay Guisado

Kintsay guisado or kinchay gisado is a filipino food recipe for mid-day meal.

Ingredients

1 cup shrimps, shelled, head removed
1 cup kintsay, cut
1 cup fresh green peas
1 cup shrimp juice
1/2 cup tokwa
1/2 cup onion, sliced
1/2 cup tomatoes, sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons cooking oil
salt
pepper

Procedure

1. Saute garlic in oil.
2. Add onion, add tomatoes.
3. Simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Add shrimp.
5. Add shrimp juice when shrimps turns light pink. Bring to boil.
6. Lower heat, allow to simmer for 4 minutes.
7. Add salt and pepper.
8. Add peas and kintsay and continues cooking until vegetables are cooked.
9. Add tokwa.
10. Serve.
