Fried Shrimp in Sauce

Fried shrimp in sauce is a filipino food recipe for renal patient, kidney patients.

Ingredients

370 grams shrimp, deveined, headless, shelled
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
45 ml white wine
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups of water
1/4 teaspoon pepper
cayenne pepper
3 teaspoon parsley, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons spring onion, chopped
45 ml calamansi juice
cooking oil

Procedure

1. Dredge shrimps in flour.
2. Heat cooking oil and deep-fry shrimps until pink. Drain the oil. Set aside.
3. Combine sesame oil, white wine, tomato paste, tomato sauce, pepper and ceyenne pepper in a saucepan.
4. Add warm water and cook until mixture thickens.
5. Add remaining seasonings.
6. Poor sauce over fried shrimps.
7. Serve with calamansi.
