Beefsteak (Bistek)

Beefsteak/bistek is a filipino food recipe.

Ingredients

1 kilo beef
2 onions, sliced to rings
4 tablespoon calamansi
1 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
bayleaf

Procedure

1. Cut beef across the grain to 2 inch portions.
2. Put water, soy sauce and bayleaf in a pan. Cook beef in this mixture over medium heat.
3. Pour calamansi when the meat is slightly tender. Add onion rings before removing from heat. Serve.
