Sinigang na Bangus

Sinigang na Bangus is a filipino food recipe recommended for mid-day meal.

Ingredients

1 bangus, cut into slices
2 medium sized tomatoes
1 onion
1 cup kamote tops, cut into lengths
9 green tamarind
4 pieces hot green sili
2 cups water
patis

Procedure

1. Boil 1/2 cup of water in a pot with tamarind.
2. Mashed tamarind when soft.
3. Strain.
4. Add 1 1/2 cups of water, cover and bring to boil.
5. Add onion, tomatoes and kamote tops.
6. Cover.
7. Add fish when vegetables are almost cooked.
8. Season with patis.
9. Bring to boil.
10. Serve.
