Tinola

Tinola is a filipino food recipe.

Ingredients

1 kilogram chicken
1 green papaya, sliced to 8
5 cups water
1 cup sili leaves
1 onion chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons patis
3 tablespoons ginger strips

Procedure

1. Saute garlic, ginger.
2. Add onion.
3. Add chicken.
4. Stir for 4 minutes.
5. Add patis.
6. Cook for 4 minutes.
7. Add 1 cup of water.
8. Simmer.
9. Add papaya when chicken is half cooked.
10. Pour water.
11. Cover and simmer until cooked.
12. Put sili leaves.
13. Boil for 2 1/2 minutes.
14. Serve.
